Hitoyoshi Yokoya is a high school student living on his own, trying to get by in a quiet, normal life. One day, a strange girl suddenly shows up at his door and asks to become his maid. She casually reveals that she used to be an assassin, which naturally freaks him out. But right after that, she literally saves him from being hit by a truck, so he ends up letting her stay.
The problem? She has absolutely no idea how to do housework. Cleaning, cooking, daily chores—she can’t do any of it. The only thing she’s actually good at is killing people, since that’s all she’s ever been trained for. Still, living with Hitoyoshi slowly starts to change her. For the first time, she experiences normal emotions and everyday life, and begins to wonder if she can become an ordinary girl.
